— How to play

Texas Hold'em

01

The Basics

Texas Hold'em is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt two private cards (hole cards). Five community cards are dealt face-up. Your goal: make the best 5-card hand using any combination of your hole cards and the community cards.

02

Betting Rounds

  • ·Pre-flop — After hole cards are dealt. Action starts left of the big blind.
  • ·Flop — Three community cards revealed. Action starts left of the dealer.
  • ·Turn — A fourth community card is revealed.
  • ·River — The fifth and final community card is revealed.
03

Your Actions

  • ·Check — Pass the action (only if no bet has been made).
  • ·Bet / Raise — Put chips into the pot.
  • ·Call — Match the current bet.
  • ·Fold — Discard your hand and exit the pot.
04

Showdown

After the final betting round, remaining players reveal their hands. The best 5-card hand wins the pot. If two players tie, the pot is split.
